This is nice! Round and refined Sauvignon Blanc from flint and limestone soils, fermented using natural yiests, aged on the lees in steel tanks and large oak barrels for 10 to 12 months. Medium intense aromas of pear, lemon, passionfruit, apricot. Medium bodied palate with med+ acidity and flavours of passionfruit, mandarin, apricot, lemon, iron, flint. Light, floral, would be off-dry without its tart acidity—just what a summer wine should be. Long, astringent finish is a good foil for food. Can take a deep chill. 13.5% alcohol.... Second bottle, even better.
